Cooking my way to happiness with Rachael Ray

The Reasons I Cook Rachael Ray Everyday….

Have you ever seen “Julie & Julia”? Basically Julie, who is trying to find meaning in life and happiness, cooks her way thru every Julia Child recipe in her cookbook “The Art of French Cooking” and blogs her way through it. I thought this seemed like a great idea since I my oldest child is now 13 and my twin babies are 10 and I think I’m having a small midlife crisis. However, french cooking requires a lot of work and it’s just not my style.  So I decide to cook Rachael Ray.  Dinner is needed every night in my house and I only have about 30 minutes to make something. I love Rachael Ray’s style of cooking because I don’t think you can ever have too much garlic or EVOO and her recipes are just down to earth real.   I record her show every weekday and make her “What’s for Dinner” that night. I have vowed to do this until @ May 28th or whenever school is out. So far it has been an incredible experience. I have learned so much about cooking and I love it!!! It is like taking a cooking class from Rachael Ray. I learn something new everyday from having to google ingredients to figure out what they are.  Watching the  show gives me the opportunity to learn all  Rachael’s technique. I feel like I accomplish a small goal everyday with a very positive outcome to share with my family.  I never knew how great fresh herbs smell and taste. My kids are sooooooo excited to find out what is for dinner and they are enjoying trying new things too , which is a small miracle.
